DAG Triathlon System: the DAG at the ankle

DAG Triathlon is a "lace" chip worn on the ankle, allowing competitors to be timed at every stage of the triathlon race. This DAG is detected by floor raised mat antennas (each antenna measure 0.8m x 4m or 1,2m x 3m) and connected with a black box (BB4 to 2 synchronized readers).

Runners are automatically detected when they pass over the mat antennas placed on the timing line. Their time and bib numbers are transmitted to the PC and save on the black box.

Advantages:

-    Low cost system

-    Security: data are stored in the internal memory of the black box

-    Ease of use and installation:

· Light: (almost 15kg) system fits in a suitcase

· Quick installation: 30 min

· Ease of storage
